“Lion Bridge” Metro Station / MC 7-II /

“Lion Bridge” Metro Station is located below Knyaginya Maria Luiza Blvd. just before “Lion Bridge”. It is underground and consists of three floors – a platform, a vestibule (which at this station is only one) and subways with approaches coming from all four sides of the intersection.

It is performed partly in the “Milan way” and partly in the “Open way”.
HIDROINJEKT Ltd. performed the strengthening along the entire perimeter of the station, the strengthening of the pedestrian underpasses, the mass excavation, the underlying concrete, as well as the entire internal structure of the station and the pedestrian underpasses. More than 10,000 m² of diaphragm walls with a thickness of 0.60 m and a depth of up to 23 m, excavation works – over 27,000 m³, anchors type IBO – over 6,500 m.l. with a bearing capacity of 630 to 1200 kN.
